Our story
OMAB was founded in 1919 in Milan by two brothers, Arturo and Vittorio Brambilla. The setting was a city scarred by war but filled with a strong desire for recovery.
The business was started in one of the city’s most vibrant areas, Porta Ticinese, as a mechanical workshop dedicated to the production of metal small parts.
It was Arturo, the grandfather of the current CEO, who rose to the challenge of changing times and grew the company during the difficult post-war period.
His son Piero continued with the same foresight, further refining the technical characteristics of production.
It was in the 1970s that Matteo began taking his first steps in the company. With him came internationalization, new technologies, acquisitions, and new production facilities, leading to what OMAB is today.
